8.50 (very good) In order to get the full effect of the show you have to have the PS2 games and played through them as well.

6.75 (above average) What the hey? It's good, but makes no sense in the end. Pretty animation.

7.50 (good) It doesn't have much depth, and the character development depends a lot on the games. Good story on it's own.

7.25 (above average) It's a little on the slow side, but is a very fulfilling story of friendship.

6.75 (above average) A long, but otherwise interesting storyline. After the 1st arch it gets boring, but hopefully it will pick up again.

9.50 (excellent) Overlapping story lines that connect with each other and an Irish "myth" who rides a kick-a$$ motorcycle stead. Izuya is a huge instigator and I love him for it. The three main kids are awesome in their own right as well, and there isn't a supporting cast member who doesn't add to the plot. I'm still in awe at the writer's ability to make everyone's story tie in with the main plot so nicely. Awesome. Just awesome.

7.00 (above average) Much better than the 1st FF movie. You do need to know the game to fully appreciate things, but still good even if you have't played the games.

10.00 (excellent) 1st viewing = "What the heck?!" 2nd viewing = "It all makes sense now." Fresh approach to story telling. Character animation is top notch.

10.00 (excellent) Really great story on so many levels! Manga keeps going where the anime left off - awesome show!

9.25 (very good) It pulls on your heart's strings, and very little filler that's not important. Excellent! Go Negi Ramen!

8.25 (good) A deeper story than it first lets on. Though all the fandom has kind of killed it for me, but it's still good.

7.25 (above average) Aside from Miaka and Tamahome calling each other's name's constantly, and a pretty repetitive storyline, it's actually pretty good. I just wouldn't watch it all in a marathon run least I want to take out some frustrations.

8.50 (very good) Otaku = you, then you must see! Downside: if you're unfamiliar w/ any aspect of fandom the DVD's don't really explain, but overall the show does a great job at poking fun of the very fandom it's modeled after without stepping on any toes of said fandom.

7.00 (above average) It's good for a laugh. The show is a good distraction for about an hour, but I can't watch more than two episodes in a row or the gags get old. All the frogs have their own distinct personalities and I love them for it. The English version has some major revisions from the Japanese script, but it's all GOOD. Give it a shot, Pekaponian. You'll love it almost as much as Keroro loves his Gundam models.

10.00 (excellent) Lovely and personal story of the growth and trust of people. Natsume is a very realistic character, even if he can see spirits. Plus Nyanko-sensei is a great splash of comedy relief.

3.25 (poor) Why did I waste my money? It makes no sense, the only thing going for it are about the 1st 4 episodes, then it's all downhill.

10.00 (excellent) Forget the baseball, Big Windup is character driven to the max! Each team member has a unique personality and relationship with everyone else. The struggles and breakthroughs each character has will make you feel like it's your own. One can easily connect with anyone on the team and Mihashi and Abe's friendship is awesome. And you can't forget Tajima's wonderful outgoing personality!

9.50 (excellent) Really funny and humorous. All the characters are unique and have thought out, unique personalities. The show kinda wraps up suddenly, but after reading on in the manga I'm glad the anime stopped where it did.

Soul Eater

7.00 (above average) The story is fun. The characters are fun. Neither really have any depth, and Black Star is annoying as hell, but it's a very fun ride. Animation style is unique and refreshing. Death the Kid is most entertaining due to his OCD about symmetry. Enjoy it for what it is, not for what it's not (if you were expecting more, that is).

Yozakura Quartet

Last Updated: Mar 01, 2010

7.75 (good) Overall it was good and I enjoyed it. The show totally needs more than a half season run though. The ending is abrupt and rushed even though everything gets resolved. I'd recommend Yozakura Quartet as a decent series to whittle away some time with, regardless of its flaws.

Zero no Tsukaima

8.25 (good) It makes you think "Harry Potter" but is nothing of the sort. The main plot is sort of short, but it's good.
